Guided throughout by our experienced team, with a maximum of 7 vehicles, you’ll experience Zimbabwe at its most authentic — far from the crowds and close to nature.
The name “Mana” means “four” in the local Shona language — a reference to the four ancient oxbow pools carved out by the Zambezi River over thousands of years. Long Pool, the largest, stretches six kilometres through open Albida woodland and draws vast elephant herds, pods of hippo, and Nile crocodiles to its banks daily.
The old river terraces offer exceptional visibility across the open woodland, creating some of Africa’s most intimate and unforgettable wildlife encounters.

Lake Kariba is one of the world’s largest man-made lakes, stretching 280 kilometres along the Zimbabwe-Zambia border and covering an area greater than the entire country of Luxembourg. Created by the Kariba Dam in 1959, the lake flooded the Zambezi Valley and created a vast inland sea that is today one of Southern Africa’s most atmospheric wilderness destinations.
The drowned trees that still rise from the water are iconic — home to fish eagles, cormorants and herons — and the shoreline game-viewing rivals anything in the national parks. Highlights at Kariba include:
