The Ultimate Kgalagadi Adventure

Guided 4×4 Safari into the Heart of the Kalahari

Experience the raw, untamed beauty of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park on a 10-day guided self-drive 4×4 safari that takes you deep into one of Southern Africa’s most spectacular wilderness areas — and adds Augrabies Falls as an unforgettable bonus.

Spanning 38 000 km² across South Africa and Botswana, the Kgalagadi is defined by towering red sand dunes, ancient dry riverbeds, and vast open skies. This is predator country — home to lion, leopard, cheetah, brown and spotted hyena, and the elusive bat-eared fox. Migrating herds of Gemsbok, Springbok, Wildebeest, Eland, Kudu, Giraffe, and Steenbok roam the Kalahari grasslands, while over 200 bird species — including 30 types of raptors — thrill even seasoned birders.

Your route also takes in the mighty Augrabies Falls on the Orange River — the second-largest waterfall in Southern Africa by volume, crashing through one of the most dramatic gorge systems on the continent.

Camp in unfenced wilderness campsites under skies thick with stars, guided every step of the way by our FGASA-qualified expert. This small-group tour is limited to just 7 vehicles, ensuring an intimate, personalised experience in some of Africa’s most remote terrain.
