Rwanda is often called the “heart of Africa”, because of its central location on the African continent. It is also known as the “land of a thousand hills”, in reference to its hilly landscape. It is a beautiful and fascinating country with a rich history and culture. Nestled within a lush mountainous landscape, Rwanda maintains picturesque scenery with a charming city and a string of rainforests teeming with primates, birds, as well as mammals like giraffes, elephants, and zebras.
Uganda has always enticed travellers with its unrivalled natural features and incredibly rich fauna. After all, it is what Winston Churchill referred to as “the Pearl of Africa.” It boasts of a diverse ecosystem including barren savannahs that host an incredible concentration of wildlife including some of the rarest animals on the planet, beautiful lakes and waterfalls, and green rainforests that gives haven to mighty primates and unique birds.
Highlights of this tour include, Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale forest National Park, game drives in the Queen Elizabeth National Park where we may see the famous tree climbing lions, and the mountain gorillas of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
